We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2022, at the age of 95, George Cox of Newcastle, Oklahoma, born in Geronimo, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sanford Cox and Teresa Ethel Cox (Woodward); his brother Wayne Cox; his sister-in-law Fay Cox; and his sister Edl Mandrano.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Cox (Crockett) of Newcastle; his children, Debbie Leonard of Blanchard, Carol Nelson of Newcastle, Alan Cox (Angelia) of Russellville, Steven Cox (Pamela) of Norman and Glenn Cox (Linda) of Enid; his grandchildren, Brian Cox (Jessica) of Russellville, Lauren Adkison (Brian) of Russellville, Sarah Cox of Norman, Tyler Cox (Nicole) of Tallahassee, Ryan Cox (Grace) of Oklahoma City, Amy Cox (Tanner Hart), Meghan Hess (Connor) of Denver and Kailen Stephens (Zack) of Blanchard; his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Addi, Kinleigh, Lennox, Brooks, Carver, Colton and Olivia; and his siblings, Jay Cox (Rosemary) of Lawton and Nancy Day of Denison, Texas.
