It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Bewley (Newcastle, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 5, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis Simer and Dollie "Granny" Simer (Bess); and her siblings, J. L., Patricia June Simer, LeoLoretta "Tootsie" Simer, JoAnn Simer, Jimmie Stevens and Inez McKinney.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Bewley, Sr.; her son Jerry "Jay" Bewley, Jr.; her grandchildren, Haley Cullum, Chrislyn Bewley and Emma Bewley; her sisters, Irma Robinson and Carol James (Archie); and her great grandchildren, Lynnlee Cullum and Waylon Jay Cullum. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews; and many, many friends and other relatives.
