With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Bruton (Mounds, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 16, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Bruton and Maggie Bruton; his significant other Deanna Bruton; and his sons, Mike Bruton of Sapulpa, Elgin Bruton, Rodney Bruton of Henryetta and Dobey Bruton of Mounds.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Lewis of Mannford, Sheila Beloat of Mounds and Chris Bruton of Tulsa; and his siblings, Frank Bruton of Sapulpa, Faye Woods of Talihina, Doramae Taylor of Beggs, Irene Gurny of Tulsa, Yvonne Stringfellow of Tulsa and Evelyn Bruton of Tulsa. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
