He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Hicks and Mabel Hicks (Tate); his siblings, Geneva Logan (Robert), Linda Carol Cranfield, Roy Mitchell Hicks (Lois), Paul LaFate Hicks, Billy Hicks (Wilma) and William Herbert Tate (Peggy); and his sons, Darrell Hicks and Richard Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Celia Hicks (Billy); his children, Charles Wayne Hicks, Billy Perkins and Sherry Hicks; and his siblings, Glendon Farrell Hicks, Brenda Patterson (Michael) and James Leon Hicks (Jean). He is also survived by other relatives, loved ones and friends.
