She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Minnick and Vione Minnick; her sister Etta Layden; and the father of her children James Richard Godfrey. She is survived by: her husband James Richard Godfrey; her children, Cheryl Lynn Gonzalez (Richard), Cindy Marie Godfrey and Richard Eugene Godfrey (KT); her grandchildren, Cenna (Jeff), Leslie (Robert), Coriann (James), Angel, Alex, Adrian and Christian; her great grandchildren, Ciera, Chazdyn, Aurelia, Treystyn and Olivia; and her close friend Ever Rene.
