He is survived by: his wife Barbara Goldsmith; and his children, Brenda Turnage, Beverly King (David), Regina Goldsmith, Ray, John Goldsmith (Yanet), Bonnie Bailey (Mike), Betsy Wood (Barry), Christopher Goldsmith (Miranda), Bridget Schilling and Michael Goldsmith. He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.
