He is survived by: his mother Betty Lou Wheat (Hokett); his children, James Wheat, Jr., Chessa Church (Thomas Sr.) and Rebecca Sikes (Justin); his grandchildren, Ivy Wheat, Greta Wheat, Lilah Wheat, Thomas Church, Jr., Isabella Church, Timothy James Church and Christopher Steele; his father James Wheat; his siblings, Cendy Hoffer (Jack David) and Ruben Wheat; his niece Jolene Ryan (Mike); his nephew Dareck Hoffer; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Noah, Joshua, Sabrina and Emily Ryan. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
