He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Jimmie Hoffpauir and Clonia Ann Hoffpauir (Freeman); and his sisters, Karen Nita Read and Esther Ann Duroy. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hoffpauir; his children, Jeremy Scott Hoffpauir (Janelle), Brett Jason Hoffpauir (Samantha) and Ryan Jeffrey Hoffpauir (Heather); his grandchildren, Colin Hoffpauir, Logan Hoffpauir, Jason Hoffpauir, Caitlyn Hoffpauir, Luke Hoffpauir, Caleb Hoffpauir, Sophia Hoffpauir and Elena Hoffpauir; and his siblings, Sharon Ruth Hoffpauir, Regina Joy Zevely (Clay) and Jan Nelda Hoffpauir.
