He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mitchum and Suzie Mitchum (Glenn); his wife Shelby Mitchum; and his siblings, George, Jr., Helen (Broadway), Henrietta (Glatz), Mary (Clay) and John Henry.
He is survived by: his children, Charles (Judy), Carol Jean Wilson, Ned (Jo Anne) and Kelley; and his grandchildren, Kate Feo (Tony), Dan Mitchum, Crystal Wilson, Kelley Jacobo (Roberto), Shane Mitchum (Alyssa), Corey Mitchum (Katina Breault) and Lucas Mitchum. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and longtime friends.
