With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernoy Verdue Godwin Jr. (Martha, Oklahoma), born in Warren, Arkansas, who passed away on February 19, 2018 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Margaret (Angel) and Joyce; and his daughter Kimberly Jean Godwin White. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Sharon Queen (Doug) of Houston Texas, Gini Hudson (Charles) of Rogers Arkansas, Vernoy V. Godwin III and Trey; his wife Natalie Godwin of Jenks Oklahoma; and also Jon Godwin (Melanie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Clarehouse of Tulsa or the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
