He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Otha and Eula Bell Stafford (Gilbreath); his wife Loretta Stafford; his siblings, Talmadge Stafford, Truman Stafford, Thurman Stafford, Johnie Clift, Avil Freeze, Venice "Imogene" Clift and Dovie King; and his granddaughter Charlott Spradling.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Lori Stafford) of Apache, Gerald (Donna Stafford) of Anadarko and Wanda Staggs of Fletcher; his grandchildren, Shyra (Craig Howard) of Elgin, Mandi (Jeremy Walters) of Elgin, David (Amber Stafford) of Lawton, George Stafford of Apache, Madison Stafford of Anadarko, Michelle (Rondo Kopepasah) of Anadarko and John Stafford of Apache; and his sister Verna Faye Myers of Cement. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Apache.
