She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Taylor and Mary Taylor (Hill); her husband James D. "Bunky" Mayes; her brother Richard Taylor; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Scheihing, Patsy Allen, Mary Roberts and Elsie Allison.
She is survived by: her daughter Jamie Black (Jeff) of Stillwater, OK; her sisters, Jeannie Scheihing of Marietta, Linda Martin (Joe Pete) of Marietta and Judy Cooper of Marietta; her siblings-in-law, Freida Taylor of Marietta, Leslie Mayes (Mary) of Lone Grove, OK and Olie Mayes, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandchildren, Gunner Black, Tristan Black (Kammille Gruber), Dawson Black and Garyn Fethkenher; and her sister Linda Birdwell of Marietta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
