He is survived by: his children, Ruth Beeber, Richard Peters II, Dennis Peters, Matthew Peters and Justin Peters; his grandchildren, Christian, Orran, Magnus, Daniel Peters, Audrey Christensen, Melissa Atkins and Megan Baker; his great grandchild Declan Christensen; his sister Gail Alvarez; his close friend Dennis Jones; and his pets, Buddy and Hobbes.
