She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Belvin Bledsoe Perkins and Monte Pearl Wolf; her daughter Joyce Elaine Quantie Gill; her husbands, Horace Carman Quantie and Melvin Gene Coday; and her siblings, Stanley Wilson Perkins, Thomas Belvin Perkins (Billy), Lawrence Perkins and Nellie Ray Perkins Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Lee Quantie (Gail Dee), Harold Gene Quantie (Connie Sue), Pamela Annette Quantie and Lewis Jay Quantie (Deeann M.); and her brother Amos Clement Perkins (Betty Lou). She is also survived by 7 grand kids and multiple grandchildren.
