He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Adkisson and Opal Adkisson (Reed); his siblings, Dean Kroth and Llian Leighton; and his great grandchild Kylie Ramming.

He is survived by: his wife Leta Kay Adkisson; his children, Lynette Ramming (Coy) of Lindsay, Lanita "Mickie" Yandell of Lindsay and Hervie Lane Adkisson (Holly) of Tuttle; and his sister Peggy Perdue of Oklahoma City.
