It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Michael Stonecipher of Kansas, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Guy Stonecipher (GG) and Glena Waltman Stonecipher; and his siblings, Cheryl, William Jack Stonecipher and David Lee Stonecipher.

He is survived by: his wife Johnita Stonecipher; his children, Jonathon Stonecipher (Season) of Kansas, OK, Jazmyn Stonecipher of Tahlequah, OK and Stephanie Tucker of Siloam Springs; and his sisters, Virginia Neal of Tulsa, OK, Mary J Stonecipher of Broken Arrow, OK and Sherri Thomason.

“Johnny, I remember you at the Fayetteville race track. I was a big fan of that red #14, with those 180 headers that sounded like a bumblebee. I would sit my your parents sometimes and would visited with them. The race tracks around this area are not going to be the same. I can remember you would be racing against Ervil Dean Skelton and Wesley Stevens, and when one of you would break down and would need some help you all would help each other. RIP you have crossed that checkered flag.”
