It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Kernodle (Jenks, Oklahoma), born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Townsend and Mildred Townsend (Griffith); and her siblings, Garry Townsend and Eula Conrad. She is survived by: her husband Mickey; her children, Michele (Jay Klahr) of Broken Arrow and Mitchell Kernodle of Jenks; her brothers, Tom (Linda Townsend) and Arnold (Evelyn Townsend); and her grandchildren, David, Matthew and Jonas Klahr.
