It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hill of Henryetta, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Freeman Hill and Alice Tulsa (Soweka); his daughter Georgina Hill; his aunts and uncles, Jacob, Bunnie, Robert Soweka, Lillie Scott and Judy Mae Asbury; his wife Shirley Hill; his children, Chad Hill, Jason Soweka (Kim) and Alethea Soweka of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; his siblings, Lewis Tulsa of Okmulgee, Harry Tulsa of Henryetta, Liz Jones of Dewar and Bonnie Soweka of Henryetta, Oklahoma.; and his siblings-in-law, Loretha Bohanan of Eagletown, Genevieve Tulsa of Henryetta, Sylvia Tulsa of Okmulgee, Gwen Kelley of Broken Arrow, Arma Austin of Oklahoma City, Donna Anna of Broken Bow and Noel Sanders of McAlester, Oklahoma.. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
