He was predeceased by: his mother Caroline Pruitt (Strobel); and his grandparents, Chester, Grace Pruitt, Arthur and Emily Strobel.

He is survived by: his father Harold Adam Pruitt; his wife Peggy Sue Brewer; his children, Kacie Teague (Jared) of Warner, OK, Jennifer Cox (Adam) of Haskell, OK, Jamie Enkey (Ben) of Coweta, OK and Joseph Pruitt (Halie) of Muskogee, OK; his grandchildren, Kenadie, Jacie, Aidan, Remington, Lizzie, Jess and Rowan; his siblings, David Pruitt (Kathy) of Fontara, CA and Debbie Woll (Rick) of Highland, IL; his nieces and nephews, Jeff Pruitt (Jessica) of San Bernadino, CA, Greg Pruitt of Tulsa, OK and Karolyn Page of Highland, IL; and his great-nephews, Michael Pruitt, Jackson, Noah and Luke Pruitt.
