With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe David Ivey of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, born in McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 12, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma Ivey; and his siblings, Sharon Anderson and Kenny Ivey. He is survived by: his wife Pat Ivey of Arch; his children, Steven Ivey of Moore, Okla, Angela Cooley (Greg) of Hartshorne, Jody Ivey of McAlester, Michelle Phillips of Hartshorne, David Ivey (Dawn) of Arch and Michael Ivey (Christy) of McAlester; his grandchildren, Brock, Brice, Bryley Cooley, Raylee Jo Phillips, James, Jacob Taylor, Harbor Faye Ivey and Jayden Ivey; his brother Terry Ivey (Dee Dee Ivey); his sisters-in-law, Polly Goddard and Kathy Freeman; and his aunts, Lois Cooley and Billie Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
