He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garfield Fillmore and Mattie Jane Green (Davis); his siblings, Johnny, Fred Green, Opal Green, Martha Stroud and Alice Goss; and his grandson Blaine Green.

He is survived by: his wife Ginger Edsall; his children, Glenn Green (Susie), Paula Green (Lee Gibson), Mike Meyer (LeAnn Sallaz) and Marian Johnson (Ian); his grandchildren, Meghann Booker (James), Katelyn Johnson of Redding, England, Robert Walraven (Jessica), Bryce (Alana Green), John Green, Ian Johnson and Jeffrey Quinhoes; his great grandchildren, Ashley Barksdale (Brandon), Matilda Green, Noah Quinhoes and Nate Booker; and his great great grandchild Aurora Barksdale.
