James Cathey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cathey of Grove, Oklahoma, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James H. Cathey and Barbara Cathey (Peirsol); his wife Susan Engstrom; his children, April Cathey, Roger Lee Cathey, Reagan Cathey, Alexis Engstrom, Kayla Cathey-Shea, Donna Engstrom Shello and Suzanne Engstrom; and his siblings, Walter Cathey of Memphis and Debra Nelson of North Carolina. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 2 bonus grandchildren.
Lee insisted that instead of flowers, donations be made to the F4 Project or the American Legion Post 178, 114 Broadway Street, Grove, OK 74344.
