He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Springer and Eleanor Springer; his children, Ashley Carter and Lynn Springer; his grandson Daniel Springer; his stepsons, Mike and Jody Shambles; and his daughter-in-law Becky Shambles.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Shambles; his children, Loy Springer (Christine) of Locust Grove, Lyle Springer (Jennifer) of Vinita and Lee Springer of Tulsa; his stepson James Shambles of Grove; and his grandchildren, Tyler Shambles, Amanda Shambles, Katie Shambles, Cassie Rutherford, Nathan Springer, Felisa Fry, Landon Shambles and Wyatt Shambles.
