He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Ray Barnett and Katherine Irene Ford; his siblings, John Barnett, Bob Barnett, Juanita Eaton and Linda Johnson; and his stepson Fred Puryear.
He is survived by: his son Leonard; his wife Corrine Barnett of Grove, OK; his daughters, Sherrie Sims of Rogers, AR and Teresa Bennett (Jim) of Noel, MO; his stepchildren, Sheri Gann (Marty) of Little Kansas, OK and Marvin Puryear (Leonard Puryear) of Miami, OK; his grandchildren, Douglas (Chelsie DeMerritt) of Bella Vista, AR, Tyler DeMerritt (Jessica) of Pierceson, FL, Miriah Wells (Jake) of Rogers, AR and James Bennett of Bella Vista, AR; his great grandchildren, Jazmine Wells, Jaden Wells, Rhyla, Della, Ellie DeMerritt, Daxton DeMerritt, Landon and Lucy Looney; and his siblings, Pat King of Neosho, MO and Donna Davidson of Goodman, MO. He is also survived by 7 step grandchildren, 17 step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that meant the world to him, along with cousins, extended family and friends.
