He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Matthews. He is survived by: his mother Margie June Harris Matthews; his wife Sheila Kay Yount; his children, Sheryl Goodson (Jack) and Kanan Matthews (Tasha); his grandchildren, Chad Goodson (Keisha), Cole Goodson (Amber), Bodrey Goodson, Lilly Matthews, Jake Matthews, Gus Matthews and Karson Matthews; his great grandchildren, Brogen, Khloe and Eden; and his sister Sharon Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
