He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. Kirkes and Clive Conner Kirkes; his spouse Jimmy Yuvonne Lambert; and his siblings, Faye Farmer and Max Kirkes.

He is survived by: his children, Gus Kirkes (Jan), Linda Wade (Jim) and Brian Kirkes; and his sister Bonita (Bill Kirkes). He is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

“This is the first time in so many years I have had a way to reach you all, I've wanted to reach out to. You all, But I have been cut off it feel,'s But God has shard many many things & I see my life has been a set up, from the get go ! On the Saturday night at 9:30 pm on the 2nd of Oct. 2004. As He took the blanket off of me I felt such an awesome peace & Job & it's never left me ! “Gus, Linda, Brian I was very hurt when I heard your Father my Uncel Bill had passed ! And I'm very sorry hearing your Mother has passed this all hurt me more then you will ever know !! My prayers have been with you since I heard they each passed, I have found memories of being there at Ma, & Dad's & with all the family setting around the large dinner table with all our family's together & the wonderful times we enjoyed growing up ! I miss you all so much I want you to know !!! Love Billy Kirkes”
