He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. McConnell and Jewel McConnell (Ludwell); and his sister LaVonna. He is survived by: his wife Emma McConnell; his children, Melissa S. Lewis (Lee) of Checotah and Michael McConnell of Eufaula; his granddaughters, Kyerra and Scarlette; his brother Donnie McConnell (Glenda) of Earlsboro; his cousin Christie Sheilds; and his daughter Whitney of Kingfisher. He is also survived by numerous sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews.
