It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Burns (Eufaula, Oklahoma), who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Burns and Sally Burns (Kennedy); and his brothers, R. L. Burns and Charles Burns. He is survived by: his friend Wilma Dean Martin; his wife Wilma; his sons, Stephen Burns (Judy) of Mellette, Oklahoma and Alan Burns (Susie) of Mellette, Oklahoma; his brothers, Robert Burns of Eufaula and Eber Burns (Verona) of Dustin; his grandchildren, Jimmy Burns (Paula), Jason Burns (Kandrea), Tina Burns (Rob), Amanda Burns (Brian) and A. J. Burns (Dana); his great grandchildren, Emily, Ethan, Hannah, Tristen, Kyler, Daxton (Autumn), Gracie and Wyatt; and his great great grandchildren, Zade, Zailey and Kace.
