He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kimmel (Sara Kimmel) and Sarah Kimmel; and his niece Sara Jane Kimmel. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his stepdaughter Jessamy (Jason); his daughter-in-law Courtney; his grandchildren, Brooke, Nathaniel (Nate) and Beau; his brothers, Richard (Pam), Douglass (Terri), Scott (Demiah) and Toby (Nicole); his stepmother Judy; and his stepsister Marny (Mike). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
