He is survived by: his wife Nora Sue Standridge; his son Charles Andrew "Bub" Hammett Jr. (Lori) of Eufaula; his grandchildren, Laura Hammett, Charles "Jesse" Hammett (Linzie) and Shelby Luellen (Joe); his great grandchildren, Lena Hammett, Charlee Hammett, Alexis Hammett and Peyton Steel; his daughter Melissa Beth Hammett-Merrick (John); his grandchildren, Brandon Merrick (Sierra) and JT Merrick (Laura Jean); and his sister Ella Dean Newton.
