She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Valentine and Pansey Valentine (Bailey); her husband Jack Barney; and her sisters, Twila, Hazel Valentine and Faye Hicks.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Barney of Enid and Darrell Barney (Susan) of Enid; and her sisters, Jewel Young of Taloga and Chris Douglas of Edmond. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Ruby's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
