He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Schroeder and Ella Kramer Schroeder; his wife Lucile Markos; his children, Vicki Smith, Larry Schroeder (Nita) and Tony Schroeder; and his sister Caroline Cowan. He was also cherished by three grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Waukomis Christian Church.
