She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hood and Polly Ann Hood (Owens); her grandson Mark Haaser; her siblings, Patricia Sales, Francis Smith and Charles Hood; and her daughters-in-law, Patty Mizell, Suli and Shih Tzu.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Blair (George) of Benton, Kansas, Stephanie Duensing of Cherokee, OK, Randy Mizell of Ft. Smith, AR and Frank Mizell (Shelley) of Barling, AR; and her sister Jean Chastain (Paul) of Ft. Smith, AR. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Following her retirement, she started working at The Living Center, where she worked for 17 years, only due to covid restrictions, she was forced to retire again.
Memorial contributions in Margaret's name may be made to the OMRF Leukemia Division or the Oklahoma Heart Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
