He is survived by: his former wife Jeanne Torode; his son Mike Diel (Sondra); his granddaughters, Kayla Diel-Young (Lane) and Kassidy Diel; his great grandchild Grant Young; his siblings, Peggy Jensen (Pete), Mark Diel (Judi), Shirley Blodgett (Mark), Sharon Long and Dan Buckley; his friend Sandy Magee; and his pet Misty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
