He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle George and Dora Bell McCune (Conley); his sister Mary Ellen Moseley; and his parents-in-law, Clyde and Dorothy Colegrove.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon McCune; his siblings, Lyle "Bud" McCune (Barbara) and Karen Cole; his brothers-in-law, Lynn Colegrove, John Colegrove (Laurie) and Jeff Colegrove (Beverley); his daughters, Kim McCune-Ulate (Steve) and Kristi Sussmann (Chris); his granddaughters, Marli Sussmann, Madison Sussmann (Matt Worrell), Isabella Ulate, Gabrielle Ulate and Sabrina Ulate; and his nephew Justin McCune. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
