He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Dexter and Lillian Dexter; his siblings, Betty (David) and Floyd, Jr.; his grandson Kyle Dexter; his son-in-law Dennis Self; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald, Charles Armagost and Geraldine Horstman (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Armagost; his daughter Patricia Self; his granddaughter Erika Self of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his son Robert Dexter (Melinda) of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his grandsons, Bradley Dexter (Jenny Cowan) and Matthew Dexter (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Janna and Adalynn of Prosper, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Dexter of Emporia, Kansas, Robert Armagost (Shirley) of Wichita and Jane Armagost of Wichita, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma or St. Mary's Catholic School in Ponca City.
