He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Page Karns and Gertrude Gladys Woolley Karns; his wife Sharon Perkins Bragg; his children, Mike (Kay) of Gainesville, Carrie Shreck (Ron) of Ft. Worth and Margaret Hosier (Mike) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his great grandchild Tom Karns; his former wife Lorene Zimmerman Karns; and his daughter Kathryn Karns Oden. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the First United Methodist Church, Enid, Oklahoma with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
