He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brice Colson, Sr. and Audean Colson (Grimes); his former wife Karen; and his brother J. B. Colson, Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Reneah Colson; and his children, Dallas Ray Colson of Stratford, Carrie Jo Palmer of Porum, Jeremiah Don Colson of Stigler and Adam Colson of Pauls Valley. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
