He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peters and Elise Peters; his wife Ruth Peters; his siblings, Lorna Graumann and Wilfred Peters; his daughter Diane Hisao; and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Elijah Guerrero.
He is survived by: his former wife Frances Huggins; his brother Gilferd Peters; and his children, Danny Yelton, Michael Peters, Deborah Hixon, Karen Isenberg, Mark Peters, Mitchell Peters and Donna Stringer. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in El Reno, Oklahoma.
