He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Covington and Ruby Covington (Warden); and his son Billy Wayne Covington. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Caudle (Robert), Jo Ann Hughes and Terry Covington (Emmett Coble); his grandchildren, Ami Hartsfield (Billy), Chad McGlocklin (Daisy), Craig Hughes and Stephanie Phillips; his great grandchildren, Madison, McKinzi, Bode, Adalie Hartsfield, Hunter Hughes, Aden McGlocklin and Maximus Phillips; his brother Duane Covington (Paula Coonrod); and his friend Margaret Mottram.
