He is survived by: his wife Lavell Gomez; his brother-in-law Cornelio "Cornie" Ballon of Pomona; his children, Candelaria Chandler of Perris, Lewis Gomez of Las Vegas and Samuel Gomez of San Antonio; his siblings, Sally Gomez, Frances Ebert of La Verne, Raul Gomez of La Verne and Lawrence Gomez of Cathedral City; and his stepchildren, Randy Johnson of Durant, Jeffrey Johnson of Victoria and Jackie Thai of Seattle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
