He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pearl and Minnie Elizabeth Patton May; his wife Almeda; and his siblings, Pauline Keyes, Oleta Patton and Robert Patton.
He is survived by: his children, Becky, Little League, Elizabeth Inez Patton of Troy Texas, Rebecca Leigh Patton of Fort Worth Texas and Donald DeWayne Patton Jr of Houston Texas; his grandsons, Keith Wallace (Kaitlin) of Temple Texas and Nathan Wallace (Riley) of Austin Texas; his great grandchild Ellie Wallace of Temple Texas; and his siblings, Lee Slayton, Norita Duffey of Duncanville Texas, Doris Hill of Durant Oklahoma, Jimmy Patton of Midlothian Texas and Michael Patton of Durant, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
