Bob Engles Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bob Engles formerly of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Henryetta, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 3, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Franklin and Lily Lawson Engles; his former wife Estelle; his parents-in-law, William J. and Blanche Larson Pyrum; his brothers, Charles, Raymond, Earl and Leroy Engles; and his brother-in-law William Eugene Pyrum.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Pyrum Engles; his children, Ann Engles Vanderburg and Robert Everet Engles, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sandra Hicks Engles; his grandchildren, Andrew Michael Vanderburg, Juliana Lee Vanderburg, Lindsey Caroline Engles, Brooke Alexandra Engles and Abigail Nicole Engles; his sisters-in-law, Marie Engles, Jeanette Engles and Carolyn Pyrum Murphy (Joe Ben Murphy); and his pets, Molly, Thomas and Isabella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
