It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Watson (Duncan, Oklahoma), born in El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Raymond P. "Jack" Goldsmith; her husband Jim Watson; her mother Helen Goldsmith; and her grandson Chase Watson. She is survived by: her sons, Kim (Gaye Watson) of Duncan and Chris (Kelli Watson) of Houston; her grandchildren, Courtney (Matthew VanHorn) of Tulsa, Corey (Chelsea Watson) of Edmond, Cooper Watson of Austin, Connor Watson of Austin, Gray Watson of New York City and Tanner Watson of Houston; her great grandchildren, Lauren VanHorn, Samantha VanHorn, Dagan Watson, Tripp Watson, Gage Watson and Stark Watson; and her brother Jackie Goldsmith of Austin.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Whitt Funeral Home (4748 US-81, Duncan, OK 73533). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery (1910 W Cypress Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
