She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Hatley and Clayton O. Hatley; and her children, Sharon Sue and Fredrick John. She is survived by: her sister Betty Joan DeFrank (BJ). She is also survived by two nephews, one niece, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was a skilled seamstress who made many dresses for her great granddaughters, clothing and blankets for several charity and benefit auctions as well as Ribbon Shirts for Osage dancers.
