He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Ray and Ellen Ann James (Meek). He is survived by: his wife Darlene James (Ward); his daughter Sami Duffield (Zach) of Owasso; and his grandchildren, Jaxson, Jesi and Jordi Duffield. He is also survived by one brother; several aunts and uncles; many cousins and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Dewey Lions Club at 300 E Angus Ave Dewey, Oklahoma 74029.
