He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Barnes and Georgia Barnes (Holder); his siblings, Lois Meek and Jack Barnes; and his granddaughter Amy Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Alan (Renee Barnes) of Dewey, Brenda (Ronnie Smith) of Dewey and Kent Barnes of Dewey, Oklahoma; and his sisters, Doris Lamar of Childers and Janet Bell of Warrensburg. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
