With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Christine Lyke of Dewey, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 6, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Sharpton and Lena Bowser; her husband Charles W. "Bud" Lyke; her stepparents, Vesta Sharpton and Ike Bowser; her siblings, Virginia Rhodes, Jacquelyn Sharpton and Darrell Kent; her stepsister Betty Lou Ensminger; and her nephews, Billy Rhodes, Kent Rhodes and Donald Keller.
She is survived by: her sister Ruby Moody of Dewey; her stepsister Rosemary Person of Tulsa; her children, Christy, Charles W. "Chuck" Lyke Jr. Simpsonville (Karen), S. C. Linda Firor (Steve) and Michael Lyke Branson (Cinder); her grandchildren, Christopher Lyke, Ginny Lyke, Andy Lyke (Tara), Joshua Firor (Teara), Jessica Firor (Dustin), Melissa Firor and Gannon Young; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Blake Burns, Madeline, Alyssa, Addison Lyke, Addyline, Kennedy, Norah Firor and Carter Duarte; her cousins, Fern Smith, Jerry Sharpton and Sandra Casper; and her friends, Wilma Workman, Ramona Townsend and Leona Edwards.
Due to the current Covid 19 pandemic, the family has chosen a private family graveside to be held at a later time.
