It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bryon Turpen (Colbert, Oklahoma), born in Flagstaff, Arizona, who passed away on November 4, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny Turpen and Carlene Turpen; and his sister Carolyn Menapace. He is survived by: his daughter Kelly McConnel Of (Wes); his stepsons, Robert Fifer of Midland, Ricky Fifer of Bloomfield and Marsha Turpen; his grandchildren, Reiner McConnel and Kessey McConnel; and his nieces, Penny Matkovich (Chuck) and Cherry Menapace. He is also survived by his children as well as other children raise animals and participate in 4-H. He never lost his spirit of the outdoorsman, traveling to many rodeos with his step-sons.
