Joe Gordon Humphrey wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry to hear about my friend Don's passing. I had not heard from him since late September or early October and his mobile phone voicemail was full. I finally googled and learned he had passed. It saddens me because Don and I used to enjoy watching Sooner games together when he lived in Texas and then when he moved in 2004 to NE Oklahoma, we would watch together via phone. Until a few years ago, we would meet in Norman and attend some games together and eat at Van's Pigstand. Joe H”
